The Myfictionworld Short Story Competition is an exclusive online platform designed to spotlight emerging writers from across the world. This competition seeks to discover powerful storytelling voices and give them the exposure they deserve in the vast world of Indian literature.
Winning stories are published in a prestigious short story anthology, and authors receive significant prize money to support their creative journey. Every step of the way, writers are guided and supported by the myfictionworld.in, helping them turn their dreams into a lasting reality.
What the first prize winner gets:
A generous prize money of INR 30,000 Rupees is offered to the winner for his/her extraordinary writing abilities. The first prize winners also receives a unique Podcast and Story publishing deal and continuous support from our organization in advancing their literary career.
Our organization handholds the winners at every step of the way and helps them navigate the challenges of breaking into the publishing industry. They are promoted on all our online channels, their works are reviewed by critics and they are recommended to media publications for features and interviews.

Rules
1. All people globally are eligible to participate.
2. The competition is open to anyone who is 18 years old and above.
3. Short Stories must be the original work of the author, and must not have been created using AI.
4. We accept Short Stories written in English or Hindi in main category.
5. If you write in Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Assamese, Urdu, Punjabi or Gujarati etc.
6. Any length and style of Short story is welcome
7. All topics are allowed.
8. Entry fee is 777rs for one Short Story, 1554 rs for three Short Story, 2332rs for five Short Story and 3885 rs for Short Story
9. Beginners are encouraged to participate.
10.This is an online writing competition. Performance is not required anywhere.
11.Your Short Stories will be scored on the basis of originality of thought, creativity, form and technique. It is not important for Short Stories to have complex words schemes but we value engaging qualities in a Short Stories. We are looking for short stories that carries a strong impulse behind it.
12.Final Deadline is August 30th 2025, midnight.
13.Results will be declared in August 2025.

CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
All participants receive certifications of participation. The certificate is mailed electronically after the announcement of results.

MYFICTIONWORLD CEREMONY
Myfictionworld Competition has become a vibrant literary tradition in India. While there are winners, we unanimously agree that there are no losers in Short Story. Each story is a universe, it is an expression and it is valuable. Myfictionworld Ceremony is a gathering, a celebration of not just Story but our lives and its various facets.
All winners and commendable mentions are invited to the prestigious Myfictionworld Short Story Competition award ceremony(online), due to be held in Online in 2025. It’s not compulsory to attend the ceremony. The winners who are not able to make it to the function will receive their prizes via Mail.
First, deposit the entry fee for the number of Short Story you wish to submit. You simply need to fill your personal details and attach your Short story in word file format on this form. Once you’ve submitted the form, you will also receive a confirmation email.
